The Ropes Behind the Leashes
These aren’t just any ropes. They belong to Mary-Jane’s late husband, who used them during his time climbing at two iconic spots in California: Sugarloaf near Kyburz and the icy climbs at Lee Vining Canyon. These ropes have stories—of adventure, of challenge, and of triumph—and now they’re being given a new life.
Rescue of choice: The Sonoma Humane Society
The Sonoma Humane Society is close to Mary-Jane's heart, and we’re thrilled to be contributing to their mission. They are a no-kill shelter in Santa Rosa CA, committed to providing care and finding homes for animals in need. Our hope is that these leashes will not only be of use to their staff and their pups but also raise awareness about the importance of supporting local animal organizations.
Whether you’re a climber or a dog lover, we hope our leashes help tell the story of adventure, love, and giving back. If you would like to support the program you can recycle your old ropes with us and you can always treat your pup to a new leash:)
Thank you everyone for your support and take care!
