About Us

Ropes for Rescues is a Recycling Program set up to keep climbing ropes out of landfills.  We recycle and repurpose the ropes into durable dog leashes and donate 10% of the  leashes to the animal rescue of the climbers choice.  Each leash comes with the history of the climber that donated the rope and where it has been used to climb, along with which animal rescue received the leash donation.

Since 2012 we have been donating our leashes to animal rescues from San Francisco to Bali.  With your support we have been able to donate to over 400 different rescues.  Thank you for supporting Ropes for Rescues and we hope you and your pup have many new adventures!
